Meet our Organizations

Under the guidance of the Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende Midday, the six organizations participating in the Harmony Project agreed that working together to raise funds to serve others, through a request for donations, called for a collaborative effort. Thus the San Miguel Harmony Project was born.

Casa de los Angeles

Picture
Casa de los Angeles is a community of caring people who nurture children, serve the less fortunate, and treat each person with dignity as they work hard to make a better life for themselves. It was founded on September 18, 2000 as a safe haven for children of single working mothers who come from the outskirts of San Miguel to clean houses, work in local restaurants, or to sell their wares at the local Mercado. Often the children were being left home alone before this center was established. Casa de los Angeles has grown to be a community center in which mothers find the support they need to make a better life for their families. It now serves over 100 children and their families.

Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende Midday

Picture
The Club endeavors to make the many Rotary visitors to San Miguel de Allende aware of the needs that exist in surrounding communities, with the desire that these Rotarians will return to their homes and begin working with Rotary San Miguel on a grant or donation. Members act as good stewards of funds and maintain full transparency. They strive to be great ambassadors for the values and ideals of Rotary International: giving back to those less-fortunate, making a difference in all the lives impacted, and encouraging the highest ethical standards.
